It’s been a long, long time since I wrote a blog post for myself and whether you are back wondering where I’ve been or whether you’re brand new to The Claire DIary – I’m glad you’re here!
Way back in 2013 I started this blog to document my weight loss journey. I was about to turn 30 and didn’t want to turn 30 being fat! Very quickly I became sidetracked and my blog turned more into a lifestyle blog that I just wasn’t able to keep up with. Add to that my husband left me and the last thing I wanted to do was blog.
So I decided to delete my blog!
Just over a year later I’ve realised that I really, really miss blogging…So I’m back!
As my life has changed so much over the last 4 years so have my interests and I want to go back to blogging about fitness and my (mostly failed) attempts at losing weight, but I also want to blog about being a single mum and balancing a full-time career.
Being completely honest I don’t know what direction this blog will take as I really feel trapped when trying to stick to a niche, I also don’t know if I’ll be promoting this blog, so let’s see how this goes and take it one step at a time!
